In the culture of sida contained values that are full of meaning. In this case series, we discuss two cases of neurotic disorders that have a Sida cultural background in the Manggarai tribe. It is very important to identify the influence of culture on mental disorders so that they can provide a more comprehensive treatment. The first patient thought about the anxiety that was felt at times. The second patient felt anxious thinking about the headache. He felt that there was something in his head like a brain tumor. It was found that people with mental disorders in the United States had a worse prognosis than those in India. This is because in the United States, people with mental disorders experience a heavier stigma. Culture have multidimensional effect on mental health. Abstract : Report submission to health care provider at the health center is still often late, which should be sent no later than the 5th of each month. The research objective is to analyze reporting system at the Public Health Center at the Gowa District Health Office based on input (human resources, infrastructure), process (officer knowledge, skills, abilities), and output (timeliness and completeness of data). This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data were analyzed using content analysis. This research interview was conducted with nine reporting informants, including eight officers from the health center section of the health care unit, and one employee from the Gowa District Health Office. Based on input, the number of human resources is sufficient and the necessary infrastructure facilities are laptops and networks. However, the availability of laptops is not provided by the Public Health Center. The process consists of officers already understanding the reporting system but training is not provided, and officers should have dual duties that hampered their main tasks in recording and reporting. Output includes late report submission and completeness. There is still a lack of reporting systems in the health care unit. The Gowa District Health Office should pay attention to some shortages in reporting system from input to output. It is better to provide a policy to solve those problems.

Journal ID : AMJ-04-01-2023-11002; Author : Muzakkir Amir, Irawaty Djaharuddin, Andriany Qanitha, La Ode Muhammadin Matahana, Andi Tiara Salengke Adam,
Abstract : The use of AR media helps lecturers and students in carrying out learning activities. Its use in medical education is also considered a novel concept in everyday learning. Congenital heart disease fits well in this dynamic rendered 3D world of virtual reality. This research is a quasi-experimental research design with a control group design. In the intervention group, medical students who are studying cardiovascular anatomy and congenital heart disease and will be given access to a 3D anatomy virtual reality learning tool and will allow these students to incorporate it in their everyday studies aside from routine conventional classroom sessions with their lecturers. An online survey is then disseminated to medical students to evaluate this learning method after completing the cardiovascular learning block. Virtual reality (VR) technology has been around for a while, particularly in the area of military training and simulators. But the question of whether it serves a purpose other than amusement and whether it is practical for use in education still stands. The advantage to using it as a learning method is that it is able to provide excellent anatomical information in a feasible way, and in a circumstance where traditional anatomy cadavers are scarce or inaccessible.

Journal ID : AMJ-03-01-2023-11001; Author : Rizky Nur Harun, A.M. Luthfi Parewangi, Fardah Akil, Syakib Bakri, Andi Fachruddin, Hasyim Kasim, Arifin Seweng,
Abstract : Gallstone diseases (especially choledocholithiasis) are a significant health issue because they have high incidence due to changes in lifestyle, diet pattern, and sedentary lifestyle, increasing health costs. The prevalence of choledocholithiasis comprises 12% of the adult population in the US. Aside from lifestyle changes, choledocholithiasis is also affected by other factors such as age, gender, genetics, factors related to metabolic syndrome, diet, and medicines consumed. The liver function test is the biochemical test of choice for gallstones and bile duct stones patients where increased ALP enzyme level with GGT can help in establishing the diagnosis of blockage of the bile duct. Therefore, this study is conducted to determine the profile of bile duct stone patients who underwent ERCP in Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo General Hospital, Makassar. This is an observational descriptive study with a retrospective cohort approach using a purposive sampling method on bile duct stones patients who underwent ERCP. The results revealed that bile duct stones are mostly found in men (61%), 45-59 years old (40.6%), non-obesity (76.3%), prediabetes (42.4%), non-hyperlipidemia (89%), increased level of AST/SGOT (72%), ALT/SGPT (77%), GGT (76.2%), total bilirubin (81.4%), and direct bilirubin (75.4%). Thus, it concludes that the profile of choledocholithiasis patients in Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo General Hospital Makassar in November 2021-November 2022 are mostly men, aged 45-59 years old, without obesity, have prediabetic status, hyperlipidemia, and increased level of AST/SGOT, ALT/SGPT, GGT, total bilirubin, and direct bilirubin.

Intravitreal Resveratrol Enhances Survival of Retinal Ganglion Cell and Suppress TNF-α Expression after Retinal Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury
Journal ID : AMJ-03-01-2023-10999; Author : Mercia Chrysanti, Yulia Primitasari, Evelyn Komaratih, I Ketut Sudiana, Chrismawan Ardiyanto, Amelia Shinta Prasetya, Maria Debora Niken Larasati,
Abstract : Resveratrol has a potential protective effect on several major eye disorders such as age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy through several pathways, namely anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-apoptotic and anti-angiogenesis In this study, an in vivo study was carried out on experimental animals of Rattus Norvegicus which were given an intervention by injection of intravitreal Resveratrol after ischemia-reperfusion injury to assess the expression of Tumor Necrosis Factor-α (TNF-α) and the number of retinal ganglion cells stained with Brn3a. Ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury was done through cannulation in the anterior chamber and pressure was maintained at 110 mmHg for 60 minutes. Resveratrol (RSV) 100M was injected intravitreally in the RSV+IR7 group. After 7 days, the rat’s eye was enucleated. Immunohistochemistry of TNF-α expression in the retina and the number of RGC stained with Brn3a were evaluated. Intravitreal injection of Resveratrol at 100 µM effectively reduced the TNF-α expression compared to the PBS+IR7 group (P< 0.05) suggesting the anti-inflammatory effect of RSV intravitreal after ischemia-reperfusion injury. Intravitreal injection of Resveratrol enhance the survival of retinal ganglion cells (2.66 ± 0.73) in 7 days compared to the PBS+IR7 group (p<0.001). This study showed that Resveratrol intravitreal helps preserve retinal ganglion cells and suppress TNF-α expression after ischemia-reperfusion injury in the animal model.
