Abstract : Malaria cases in Kulon Progo Regency have continued to occur until 2022. There were six additional cases in March 2022, and the elimination of malaria in the Kulon Progo Regency has not been successful. This research aims to develop a control strategy for social and environmental vulnerability to eliminate malaria in the Kulon Progo Regency. In this research, the descriptive-analytic method was used. Additionally, a qualitative approach was used to develop strategies for controlling social and environmental vulnerabilities in Kulon Progo Regency. These strategies include Larvaciding, promoting environmental management, socializing the use of mosquito nets or insecticide-treated nets on each individual's bed at residents' homes, house screening, flooring with plastic or wooden planks accompanied by insecticide-treated roofs and curtains, and spraying insecticides on the doors, walls, and roof of the house. Other strategies for controlling social and environmental vulnerabilities include ensuring that all suspected cases of malaria pass the RDTs and microscopy to confirm the diagnosis, conducting campaigns by adopting the WHO theme "Ready to Beat Malaria", improving inter-sectoral cooperation, and increasing public awareness of malaria.
