Abstract : Designing and developing a software-based "e-Audit for Hospital Personal Protective Equipment" system, could improve service, speed of time, accuracy, more thorough integration, and ease in the audit process for compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment in hospitals. The study was a waterfall. The study resulted “e-Audit of Hospital Personal Protective Equipment” system that has been done through four stages including analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The results of the study were in the form of the "e-Audit of Hospital Personal Protective Equipment" system which has been tested and implemented in Prof. dr. Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis, Universitas Sumatera Utara. This software displays output in the form of graphs of compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment, graphs of compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment by room, profession, and type of Personal Protective Equipment. Using the "e-Audit of Hospital Personal Protective Equipment" would make it easier to audit compliance with the use of Personal Protective Equipment in hospitals and could improve the performance of the Infection Prevention and Control Committee in reporting national quality indicators.
