Abstract :
The use of AR media helps lecturers and students in carrying out learning activities. Its use in medical education is also considered a novel concept in everyday learning. Congenital heart disease fits well in this dynamic rendered 3D world of virtual reality. This research is a quasi-experimental research design with a control group design. In the intervention group, medical students who are studying cardiovascular anatomy and congenital heart disease and will be given access to a 3D anatomy virtual reality learning tool and will allow these students to incorporate it in their everyday studies aside from routine conventional classroom sessions with their lecturers. An online survey is then disseminated to medical students to evaluate this learning method after completing the cardiovascular learning block. Virtual reality (VR) technology has been around for a while, particularly in the area of military training and simulators. But the question of whether it serves a purpose other than amusement and whether it is practical for use in education still stands. The advantage to using it as a learning method is that it is able to provide excellent anatomical information in a feasible way, and in a circumstance where traditional anatomy cadavers are scarce or inaccessible.
