Abstract :
Filariasis is a chronic infectious disease caused by filaria worms that attack the ducts and lymph nodes that cause disability and social stigma in society. More than 120 million inhabitants in 83 countries around the world have been infected with Filariasis, mainly in the tropics and some subtropical regions. The purpose of this study was to obtain a model of controlling Filariasis Based on Ecological Conditions in Jambi Province. This research uses a study based on Condition echronology, With the units of analysis are the ecosystem of rice fields, hills and beaches. The result of this study is in the Rice Field Ecosystem of Muaro Jambi Regency, the Filariasis Mathematical Model is y= -7,981 + 2,661 (type of work) + 2,080 (perception) + 2,189 (behavior) + 1,682 (Puddle) + 3,029 (habit of hanging clothes). y = 3.61 thus the probability is p = 97.3%. In the Hill Ecosystem of Batanghari Regency, the Filariasis Mathematical Model is: y= -88,445 + 2,340 (type of work) + 4,122 (perception) + 2,339 (behavior) + 2,611 (habit of hanging clothes). y=3,556 thus the probability is p=97%. In the Coastal Ecosystem of Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency, the Filariasis Mathematical Model is: y= -5,960 + 1,909 (type of work) + 2,252 (behavior) + 1,437 (Puddle) + 1,827 (habit of hanging clothes). y=1,465 thus the probability is p=81.2%.
